The President of Oman’s State Council reaffirms his support to the Moroccan territorial integrity

The President of Oman’s State Council, Mr. Yahya Bin Mahfoodh Al-Manthri, reaffirmed Tuesday in Rabat, the support of his country to Morocco’s territorial integrity.

In a statement to the press after his talks with the chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, M. Al-Manthri praised the wisdom of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in finding a solution to the Sahara issue in accordance with international law and by peaceful means.

He also stressed the support of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations efforts to settle this issue.

Mr. Al-Manthri is accompanied, during his official visit to the Kingdom which will continue until May, 2 by a delegation including the Vice-President of the Omani State Council, Mr. Said bin Hilal Al Bousaidi and members of the State Council.
