The Kingdom of Morocco has mobilized substantial investments to ensure the prosperity and economic growth of the Sahara region, said Ilan Berman, vice-president of the American Foreign Policy Council, while highlighting the growing international momentum of recognition for the Kingdom's efforts in its Sahara.

The president of the Sahara Observatory for Peace, Democracy and Human Rights, Aicha Douaihi, affirmed that the southern provinces of the Kingdom are currently experiencing a strong human rights dynamic.

More than a solemn expression of political intent, France's position in support of the Moroccan character of the Sahara has become the doctrine of its diplomacy, which it actively defends and upholds on the global stage.

Jacob Zuma, former President of South Africa and leader of the Umkhonto weSizwe (MK) party, stated that his party believes Morocco’s Autonomy Proposal allows for significant local governance by the populations of the Sahara region, while ensuring that Morocco retains its sovereignty over the Sahara.

Morocco is one of the United Kingdom’s oldest allies and a key partner on a range of issues related to both British and global security, said Sir Liam Fox, former UK Secretary of State for Defense and International Trade, on Monday.
