Michael Rubin, an expert at the (Naval Postgraduate School's Center for Civil-Military Relations) said in an analysis published on (CNN) webpage that Algeria opposes autonomy plan in the Sahara for fear that this solution would be unprecedented at level of its internal policy, pointing out that Algeria sees Polisario as tool to serve its hegemony ambitions in the region .

China reaffirmed by its Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Wang Yi, who is paying December 22 to 24, 2013  a working visit to Morocco that its "position on the Sahara issue is constant and unchanged".

The United States of America "clearly" said Friday that the Moroccan autonomy plan for the Sahara is "serious, realistic and credible , and represents a potential approach that could satisfy the aspirations of the people of the Sahara to manage their own affairs in peace and dignity," said the joint statement by the United States of America and the Kingdom of Morocco , following the Summit meeting between His Majesty King Mohammed VI and President Barack Obama at the White House.

The Moroccan Sahara is based on a double historical and on the ground legitimacy, said Mexican researcher in political sciences, Roman Lopez Villicana , in a book entitled "Sahara issue: geostrategic perspective " , published recently in Mexico.

The Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Khalihenna Ould Errachid, met Friday at the CORCAS headquarters with the President of Committee for International Cooperation and Foreign Trade at the of Costa Rica Parliament, Mr. Alvaro Oscar Zamora, who is visiting Morocco November 03- 09.
