Azzemit

Azzemit is also prepared with well ground barely flour dried on mild fire. It is prepared for breakfast. Azzemit can be compared to Boulghmane though it is lighter. Their preparation methods slightly differ since Azzemit is prepared only with dried barely seeds added to warm water, sugar, Dhan (fat) and olive oil.

Azzemit is considered as meal which cures stomach aches resulting from the accumulation of harmful fat. It is also used to treat problems linked to acidity. Generally, it is prepared during the hot periods of the year because of its effectiveness in fighting acute or repeated thirsts.
