Rgid, also called Laâsidah (soup), is cooked with milk, olive oil and fat. Rgid is a meal prepared without meat. Rgid is prepared with Dchicha (barley), after boiling a quantity of water in a particular bowl added to milk and olive oil that Sahrawis call Al marjen.
When barley is well cooked and ready to be eaten, we put it in a clay bowl called Kassa.
