According to organizers, this festival is an opportunity to communicate on the achievements in development and highlight specific local and economic potentialities in the region.
The opening ceremony of the festival, which was attended by government members, was embellished with songs and choreography to illustrate the diversity and richness of Moroccan cultural heritage.
On this occasion, the ministerial delegation composed of. Mohand Laenser, Mohammed Ameur, Anis Birou and Abdeslam Al Mesbahi, paid a visit to the space of the National Initiative for Human Development (NIHD), which includes several stands in which are exhibited projects initiated under the Initiative.
The program of this edition includes a conference on decentralization and broader development in the southern provinces," an exhibition of historical documents and art, Hassani poetry competition and several sporting events.
This edition will also organize a medical caravan through which several tests and medical procedures will be implemented in various specialties.
Several equipment will also be distributed at the event in favor of social institutions.
Organized by the prefecture Boujdour with the assistance of the Southern Provinces Development Agency, elected councils, public institutions and actors of civil society, the festival will be marked by the participation of artists and popular troupes representing Morocco, Mauritania and Lebanon.
