At this meeting, CORCAS chairman began the meeting by explaining to his the main historical facts of the Sahara issue, the causes of the conflict and the steps this issue witnessed in the past.

In addition, Ould Errachid and his guest reviewed the latest developments in this matter, especially the question of negotiations and the impetus created by the Moroccan autonomy initiative, which was recognized by the community internationally as "serious and credible".

The meeting was attended by, Corcas Secretary General, Dr. Maouelainin Benkhalihenna Maouelainin, and Vice-President Khaddad Moussaoui.

Francisco Javier Ramirez Acuna, who started on Wednesday a visit during which he met with officials of the Moroccan Parliament, pays an official visit to Morocco between 2 and 6 June 2010.
