Projection of documentary film in Rabat on violations of human rights in Polisario camps in Tindouf

"The terrified,'' the film that was projected for the first time Wednesday in Rabat is a documentary film about the violations of human rights in the Tindouf camps.

"The idea is to give a new dimension to the approach on the situation of human rights in the Tindouf camps, through a documentary film," said Rouayda Marwa, founding  president and executive director of the International Center for Development, Training and Conflict Resolution, which produced the film.

"We filmed with Sahrawis, men and women who have joined Morocco and who reported torture, which they suffered by Polisario and their deportation to Cuba," said Mrs. Rouayda in a statement released by Al Oula television channel at its evening news.

The chain said that the documentary, which tells the wrenches arising from the separation of children from parents sequestered in Tindouf after their deportation to Cuba, is interpreted by several Sahrawis, including Saadani Maa El Ainine and Rabia Zouin, sequestered by Polisario, and Ahmed El Khar, also a former prisoner in Tindouf jails.
